A wide range of features specially tailored for streaming Live seminars—here are some of the major features:
- Presenter page
- A page enabling a presenter who is streaming a seminar to perform a variety of actions. The presenter uses this page for streaming web seminars. The page contains a rich variety of useful features for conducting seminars.
Basic features for web seminars! – Streaming video of the presenter and whiteboard –
Streaming video of the presenter and whiteboard are two of the essential functions for hosting web seminars. In addition to a video feed of the presenter, he or she can visually present files (e.g., Word, Excel, PowerPoint and PDF) once they are uploaded to the whiteboard. The presenter can add text and underline key points to clearly convey the main points of the presentation.
- A video feed of the presenter (facilitator) is displayed. The display can be switched between any other people who are logged in as presenters.
Perfect for Q&A! – Instant Messaging –
The Instant Messaging function enables communication between the presenter and participants. It is useful for Q&A, as participants may find it easier to ask questions via instant messaging. It is also possible to restrict the use of this function for seminars where instant messaging is not required.
Press the Send button after entering your message to display your message in the instant messaging panel.
Get feedback from participants! – Questionnaire –
Quick Questionnaire function for viewing real-time results
The presenter can conduct a survey by asking participants questions. The potential applications are unlimited—e.g., ‘Please press the number you think is correct’ and ‘Please press YES if you have enjoyed this and press NO if not’. A quick summary of the questionnaire can be viewed on the spot; another web seminars advantage! The results can be displayed as visually intuitive bar charts.
Participants can answer questions with a single click. The results are displayed as bar charts on the presenter’s page, which can be shared with participants.
Questionnaire Form function for getting feedback from participants
More complex questionnaires can be made using the Questionnaire Form feature. The survey items can be established in advance, so that you only need to click the button to start the questionnaire during the seminar. This option allows you to choose questionnaires before, during or after seminars in order to get participants’ feedback. Presenters can compare reactions before and after the seminar, or simply receive feedback from participants.
Once the presenter starts the questionnaire form, the questionnaire is displayed on each participant’s page.
Directly stream your PC screen! – Share your desktop –
The presenter’s desktop display can be presented on the whiteboard. This function allows the presenter to stream any content that cannot be uploaded to the whiteboard to the participants, such as websites.
