Basic functions of TV/Web conferencing
Our famous video conferencing Cloud service ‘V-CUBE Meeting’ is specially designed to make your conference a success. Not only are you able to talk with the other party face-to-face, you can also share documents with all participants, or video-record the conference to use it as meeting minutes.
Video Conferencing has become an important part of unified communications for businesses. The technology allows companies to conduct meetings in a face-to-face manner, even if the people are located hundreds of miles away. It is also in a constant state of evolution, as new players appear on the marketplace, new features are added, and video resolution increases.
Sharing documents with all participants – Whiteboard –
Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint or PDF which are indispensable to businesses can be displayed on the interface. Various image files (gif/jpg etc) can be used too.
These data are turned into images and displayed in the area called the ‘Whiteboard’ in the interface, and can also be viewed by people without Microsoft Office.
By being able to underline or write on the uploaded documents, you can convey the points more clearly.
Word, Excel, PowerPoint data can be uploaded to the V-CUBE Meeting interface.
Display of the uploaded documents can be toggled in units of pages or files.
Taking notes on your personal whiteboard – Personal Whiteboard –
You can take notes using the whiteboard (which is usually shared with all participants) as a personal whiteboard*.
You can copy the files uploaded onto the shared whiteboard to your personal whiteboard or vice versa. This achieves an efficient meeting by enabling you to quickly take notes on the files being shared in the meeting and share your personal notes with all other participants.
* This option is available for subscribed users.
Sharing videos on the whiteboard – shared storage –
You can stream and share videos with all participants on the whiteboard. If registered beforehand, multiple videos can be streamed in order.
Videos registered during meeting reservation can be streamed.
Sharing memo in text format – Memo sharing feature –
You can share you memo with all participants in text format. You can edit your memo in the meeting room, keep the memo when the meeting is done, and also save the memo on your PC or as an email attachment.
Users with memo rights can edit the text memo. Users can also exchange memos.
Enabling the exchange of files during the V-CUBE Meeting – File transfer function –
Files (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, PDF, image）of all formats can be exchanged. After uploading to the V-CUBE Meeting, all participants can download the documents.
Data from Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc uploaded to the V-CUBE Meeting can be downloaded.
You can participate in the meeting even without a microphone – Text Chat function –
When you are in locations where the use of mobile phones are restricted such as on trains, or when conversations are prohibited such as in libraries, or when you want to make some comments where the contents are not to be overheard by the people around you, or when you want to take part in the conference but do not have a microphone, you do not have to worry. The V-CUBE Meeting comes with a text chat function, so you can participate in it as though you are emailing.

Saving the meeting as it is – Video recording function –
Saves you the trouble of preparing meeting minutes.
Not only can you record the contents of the V-CUBE Meeting as they are, you can also choose to record only the areas containing the key points of the conference. There are many ways you can use this function; such as by recording and saving meetings as meeting minutes for people who could not participate.
Anyone can be invited to the V-CUBE Meeting – invitation function –
People who do not have contracts with the V-CUBE Meeting are also can be invited to the meeting. You only need to enter the email addresses of participants when setting up a meeting to complete the preparation. The invitation can be sent to not only within the company but also for clients outside the company.
Just click on the URL that is in the invitation email.
Sending out invitations can be carried out not only at the time of meeting set-up, invitation mails can also be sent during the meeting.
This immediately solves the problem when there is a sudden need to add participants to the meeting.

Sharing the desktop with participants – Sharing PC screen –
Information on the PC screen can be displayed as they are onto the Whiteboard. Contents that cannot be uploaded onto the Whiteboard e.g. Web sites (homepages) or applications can be shared with all participants too.
*Downloading and installing specialized software is necessary for the sharing of PC screen. The software can be downloaded at the page after login.
Information displayed on the Whiteboard can be viewed and remote-controlled by all participants of the TV/Web Conference.
Indication of connection status for your network environment – Suggest function –
The color of the triangular (!) button in the lower left corner of the page will change to indicate any abnormalities during video or web conferences, such as reduced speed, delay and disruption of the connection.
In addition to the status display, there is an easy-to-understand troubleshooting display to solve the problem, thereby ensuring worry-free use for everyone.
By clicking the triangular (!) button, you can see the status and the solution to any indicated problem.

The status of the meeting room is displayed when you start a video or web conference so that you can know in advance the status of the conference previously held in the room you want to enter.
This helps you to avoid entering the room without realizing that the earlier meeting has been extended.
